Day 1 of 11 Days Best of Uganda Safari Tour: Arrival at Entebbe Airport

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be met by our exclusive agent and be transferred to your hotel for dinner on own account and overnight at your hotel. Next eleven days you will be guided by a Professional Guide Driver English Spoken.

Entebbe is an attractive, verdant town that served as the capital city during the early years of the British protectorate. However, it is the relaxed pace of life and natural attractions rather than any notable colonial relics that give the city its charm. Entebbe makes a nice introduction to Uganda. Entebbe has several inviting beaches on the shores of Lake Victoria, most with white powdery sand.

Murchison Falls National Park

Day 2 of 11 Days Best of Uganda Safari Tour: Entebbe – Murchison Falls

This morning we head directly Murchison Falls, also known as Kabalega Falls, is a waterfall between Lake Kyoga and Lake Albert on the Victoria Nile in Uganda. At the top of Murchison Falls, the Nile forces its way through a gap in the rocks, only 7 m (23 ft) wide, and tumbles 43 m (141 ft), before flowing westward into Lake Albert. The outlet of Lake Victoria sends around 300 cubic meters per second (11,000 ft³/s) of water over the falls, squeezed into a gorge less than 10 m (33 ft).

Day 3 of 11 Days Best of Uganda Safari Tour: Murchison Falls National Park

Breakfast and departure for a 4×4 safari with a picnic included, to admire the beauty of the north bank of the River Nile, cross the Park with the wide variety of wild animals: elephants, lions, buffalo, Ugandan antelopes/kobs, “Rothschild” giraffes” and photographing colourful birds.

You may be lucky enough to see a beautiful solitary leopard roaming the savannah of the National Park. In the afternoon, along the mythical River Nile beautiful landscapes and its wildlife. Return to the Lodge for dinner.

Day 4 of 11 Days Best of Uganda Safari Tour: Kibale National Park

After breakfast, depart with your driver-guide towards Fort Portal in western Uganda. Lunch break (included) during the journey.

Fort Portal is situated in the shadow of the Mountains of the Moon and is a region of vast tea plantations! From Fort Portal we continue to Kibale Forest National Park and the Lodge.

Day 5 of 11 Days Best of Uganda Safari Tour: Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast, head north and towards Queen Elisabeth National Park! (About 3 hours of journey).

By optional with an extra cost per person USD 200.00 we can offer you a fabulous walk through Kibale Forest to meet the chimpanzees!

In small groups and accompanied by guides from the Park, the walk will allow the observation of chimpanzees in their natural habitat and whose adult males can measure up to 1.5 meters in height! You will also have the privilege of admiring the emblematic colobus primates swinging from branch to branch, the vervet monkey, the red-tailed monkeys, not forgetting a rich variety of butterflies and exotic birds.

After this wonderful walk, return to Primate Lodge for lunch (included in the program) departure to Queen Elisabeth National Park.

Day 6 of 11 Days Best of Uganda Safari Tour: Queen Elisabeth National Park

The stunning Queen Elizabeth National Park with spectacular views of the Rift Valley is situated between Lake Edward and Lake George. In 1979 it was recognized by UNESCO as a World Biosphere Reserve.

Queen Elisabeth Park, in addition to being an immense animal reserve with about 95 species of mammals and more than 600 species of birds, has natural lakes of volcanic craters where flamingos delight, savanna plains and humid tropical forests.

Guided morning safari and afternoon boat tour – Included. After breakfast, a safari with a guide enjoying the wonders of the Park and wild animals in their natural habitat: elephants, lions, buffaloes, hippos, Ugandan antelopes/kobs, but also admiring the abundant variety of birds.

Return to the Lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, a beautiful boat trip along the Kazinga Canal that connects Lake Edward to Lake George.

After breakfast, with your driver-guide, departure to cross the Park towards the south (if road conditions allow) to Ishasha. This part of the Park is known for the Kigezi Mountains and the famous “tree lions”; due to the height of the vegetation, the cats had to adapt to the habitat and by climbing trees they have better visibility to hunt their prey!

Day 8 of 11 Days Best of Uganda Safari Tour: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After breakfast, we depart for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is located in the southwestern part of Uganda on the rim of the Rift Valley. The hillsides which are mist-covered are sheltered by one of the ancient and very biologically varied rainforests in Uganda that dates back to more than 25,000 years, comprising of about 400 varied plant species. Bwindi is habitat to more than half the world’s population of Mountain Gorillas. Actually, there are over 300 mountain gorillas living here.

Day 9 of 11 Days Best of Uganda Safari Tour: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Following breakfast, transfer to the national park offices where you will be allocated a gorilla family in groups of 8 as well as a gorilla tracking guide. You should bring your passport for registration, waterproof hiking boots, and a light rain coat. A small waterproof backpack is an excellent idea to carry a light snack, bottled water as well as protection for your camera.

The time taken for this activity can be quite unpredictable lasting anything from 2 to 8 hrs or longer. Upon sighting the gorillas, you spend the allowed one hour with them as they go about their daily life; feeding, moving, playing, raising their young and sometimes wrestling by the juveniles. It is a totally unique and unforgettable experience.
